The Ring - 'Dead in Seven Days' photo frenzy...

'The Ring' is a Japanese horror film about a mysterious VHS tape XD

Watching this bizarro medley of video clips results in a spooky phone call; the voice on the other end telling you that you will die in seven days....

Nobody believes in such wacky notions in the first instance, but signs of their impending doom soon start to appear...

One of these eerie occurrences is the blurring of faces in previously sound photos...

These previously normal-non-blurred photos mysteriously distorted after my friends and I watched Teletubbies...

Jersey Air Display

Its been years since I watched the air display, I'm usually working or not fussed but now I got a new camera I thought I'd get all touristy and snap away. The first picture I love! You couldn't plan that kinda shot! :P

Finally bought my new camera!

I got my new camera today! It's soo beautiful...

I couldn't really find anything to take pictures of so I poured my 'box of special things' out and took these on different art filter settings...

Things Found at Jersey Live 2010

'Things Found at Jersey Live' started out pretty awesome this year but due to rain on monday (the day that I collected everything last year and the time that you find the best stuff) and me losing half the stuff before I got to take any pictures; it turned out pretty rubbish so I had to try capture some small significant pieces instead of taking a picture of everything because the layout was pretty naff without all the big things I collected...

I survived Jersey Live!

...well barely! I have a cold and a stomach upset…

To begin (for random memories sake) I want to share some of my favourite encounters at Jersey Live, as I face paint at the event and meet some very bizarre people; some of whom are well worth mentioning.

So here goes:

Best question asked….

'Where does the money go?'

The conversation:

Blonde: 'Are you bored?'

Moi: 'no' (What I should have said was 'I may look bored but I have been sitting here for 8 hours and this is my second day and I'm fed up of talking to drunk people'…but I didn't)

(and so it continued…)

Blonde: 'You don't like your job do you?'

Moi: 'yeah I wouldn't be doing it otherwise'

BLonde: 'What charity do you work for?'

Moi: 'I don't'

BLOnde: (thinking)…………………… 'so where does the money go?'

ha ha ha ha ha ha gag haha

Moi: 'this is my job, the money goes to me'

anyway she was really bummed out by this and had some kinda strop on for the rest of the painting

(For those of you who don't know, I'll be 27 in two weeks :P)

(little bit harsh coming from some drunk girl who I wouldn't let pee behind our tent (which was also our personal space where we would be camping)… didn't upset me though, I thought it was hilarious)

Watching Biffy Clyro on my own

(On saturday I finished early to go see Biffy Clyro play but my sis had abandoned me so I had to go watch it on my own, which for me is pretty brave :P I win!)

Eeriest moment…

Rosie finding a camera and then the owner 24 hours later…

(A whole day after Rosie found a really expensive camera she bumped into the owner who she recognised from the pictures and gave it back to her…)

Best attention seeking moment…

Going to St Johns Ambulance

(I cut three of my fingers and one wouldn't stop bleeding, it didn't hurt but I needed a plaster. I had three people take care of me, an A3 form filled out with my details and a huge plaster :D

I should damage myself more often at JL :P)

5am this morning and I'm awake... There's this enormous bang come from outside and I look through the crack of the curtains and... a nuclear bomb has hit the waterfront area!!... OMFGG! I start twitching and hyperventilating uncontrollably.... It's the end of the world!...

It turned out to be a very bright lamp post... It was 5am and I was very tired, but I guess now I know how I'd react faced with a nuclear explosion...

Random crap found at the Jersey Live grounds after the event.

One idea was to print some of the pictures real huge and hang them at the back of the tent in 2010 and get people to spot their belongings and write all over it but we didn't, it was a fun idea though :D
